Dr. Maryam AlQaseer

Dr. Maryam Alqaseer is the Vice President of the Eastern Business Unit in the Health Holding Company and a consultant adult cardiologist at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam (KFSHD). She previously served as the Director of Cardiac Center as well as the associate Executive Director of Medical Support Services at KFSHD. 

Her journey with the healthcare transformation started when she was appointed the system of care lead for chronic diseases in the Eastern Health Cluster, followed by the role of Chief of the Model of Care for the Eastern Health Cluster, as well as Director of Model of Care Hub at the Eastern Business Unit.

Dr. Maryam holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and followed by a postgraduate training in Ireland in cardiology with a special interest in heart failure and cardio-oncology. She went on to pursue a master’s degree in healthcare administration and management from the Royal College of Surgeons.
